00:00:15 - Today's podcast will be based on one of the most controversial topics of the 21st century, the role of women, and specifically that of a great woman who has generated impact and admiration in my life.

00:00:28 - Who is she?

00:00:29 - She's Malala Josephzai, a woman of today's world who fights for an equal and sustainable future, with education for all, without stereotypes and without violence.

00:00:41 - Let's start this short podcast by knowing who Malala is and some of the most important facts about her life. Well guys, who is Malala? Malala Josephzai is a Pakistani activist and one of the most influential people on the planet thanks to her tireless fight for civil rights and women's education. She boarded on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan. She grew up in the northwest of Pakistan.

00:01:09 - The value of education was instilling her from an early age. When she was a child, the Taliban all could be the area where she lived, and they imposed radical ideas and changed laws as they pleased. Showing great courage, Malala began writing a blog for BBC under the pseudonym of Gul Makai. In it, she expressed her feelings and recounted her experiences during that time of terror. Her courage embraced millions of people and Malala became famous at home and abroad. On October 9th, 2012, Yusafzai was shot by a Taliban gunman while traveling home on a bus after taking an exam. After this, Malala received support from the state and from the government, and she moved to London to continue his life. On October 10, 2014,

00:02:00 - Josef Zay was announced as Correcipient of the 2014 novel Peace Prize for her fight against the repression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.

00:02:11 - When July 12, 2015, her 18th birthday, Josef Zay opened a school in Lebanon's Bikabali near the Syrian border for Syrian Refuge.

00:02:22 - The school, founded by the non-profit Malala Fund, provides education and training for girls' ages to 14 to 18.

00:02:31 - Josef Zay called on world leaders to invest in books and not unveil bullets.

00:02:39 - But now, why Malala is so important to me?

00:02:44 - Why is she so important in my life?

00:02:48 - I think those are very good questions and I think Malala she is certainly an amazing and very interesting woman.

00:02:59 - Knowing the events she has been through, the way she has come through, and all the obstacles she has put aside make her the woman she is.

00:03:07 - In the beginning of the podcast, I mentioned you guys that Malala Joseph Zai has made an impact on my life, and yes, she has, but why?

00:03:18 - Well, Malala and her fight for equal opportunities, education, and rights around the world has constituted a great social revolution in modernity, generating an incredible change in society, in my opinion, and you guys may ask, what has Malala achieved with this fight?

00:03:36 - Well, I think she has contributed by promoting women who have revolution of world.

00:03:42 - She has changed her way of thinking.

00:03:44 - She has managed to receive equal aid for social and cultural opportunities.

00:03:49 - She has left behind that role of the typical woman.

00:03:53 - She has entered new fields considered only for men.

00:03:56 - She has renewed her lifestyle, her essence, and everything that characterizes her.

00:04:02 - And let's not forget about the achievements in fields such as science, politics, technology, education that she has received and to know that she has been recognized as she truly deserves.

00:04:16 - I think what I admire the most about this woman and what inspires me too much is her courage to do things, not only for herself, but for the future of women in society and seeing the context in which she finds herself, like a dangerous, unstable and sub-region where there are several attacks by paramilitary groups and where at any moment a person's life can be ended, is one of the reasons to amight her even more I think.

00:04:46 - Malala is all of the above, she's strong, she's brave, she's empathetic, and an example to be taken into account for her great strategy.

00:04:57 - I think in conclusion, Malala has made me reflect that with the full and effective participation and leadership of women in all areas of life, progress is achieved for the whole world.
