00:00:21 - So I start.

00:00:24 - Empathy is a key competence of emotional intelligence that manifests itself when communicating and relating to others. That's why it's important to encourage it in every novel in the organization, but mainly in manager and executive because he's a part of a good leadership. Empathy can be learned to improve a lot things for example to improve their performance and effectiveness, leaders may need to develop the capability to demonstrate empathy. If given enough time and support leaders can develop an high enhance their empathy skills through coaching, training or developmental opportunities and initiative. In some cases some people not really exude empathy and have an advantage over their peers who have difficulty expressing empathy. Most leaders fall in the middle and are sometimes or somewhat emphatic. In my opinion it is important that the organization improve or create more emphatic workplace and help managers to improve their emphatic skills.

00:01:49 - Some ways can be talking about empathy, gives you time to meet your co-workers and make conversation, teach listening skills and have an active listening.

00:02:03 - As a conclusion, some of the benefits left by empathy are, empathy causes a greater sense of comfort at work, as relationships become much more fluid, leading to higher productivity and better work environment, improve communication between workers, and increase ability to resolve conflicts.

00:02:36 - I agree with you, David. I thank you for your valuable opinion.

00:02:42 - Now, Sara, tell us about the reading you did. What is your opinion?

00:02:47 - As known, empathy is the ability to experience and relate to the thoughts, emotions or experience of others. According to VAS, leaders need empathy in order to show their followers that they care for their needs and achievements. After reading the lecture, I realized empathy is also a key part of emotional intelligence that several researchers believe is critical to being an effective leader. Also, looking beyond traditional strategies for management development and recruitment can help for moving the company forward.

00:03:22 - Thanks Sara, I think we agree with David so far. It is essential to create good work strategies.

00:03:30 - What could you tell us about it Danila?

00:03:36 - Empathy is the ability to understand someone's feeling or situation, but in the workplace is a strength because every leader has to have empathy with their employees for them to recognize if something is happening in their lives. If they don't feel comfortable with something is to read what they are feeling and as a leader offer the help. And it tells also that if a leader has empathy their employees will also have and it's a good reason to boost productivity and more employee satisfaction. Empathy allows you to embrace our differences and empathetic leadership fosters those differences. Different ideas, different perspectives, different strengths and weaknesses. To build better teams, to build better companies.

00:04:28 - Thanks, Daniela. I think we agreed and there are key points that will help use, improve, or ability to empathetic artwork as well as what they need to feel more comfortable and create a suitable work strategy for everyone. Thanks for listing this was an original postcard from team one.
