00:00:20 - Australia year 1977 in the year angst is formed in English in excess it was an

00:00:27 - Australian rock band. Formed by the Ferris Brothers in 1977 in Sydney it consisted of the

00:00:33 - Ferris Brothers, Andrew on keyboards and lead composer, John Andromes and Tim on guitar,

00:00:39 - Kurt Pendelie on guitar and sax, Gary Beers on bass and Michael Hutchins on vocals, who who was the main lyricist.

00:00:58 - Band, it was initially a mix from New Wave, Skaw and Pop, which later evolved into a harder Pop Rock, which included elements of funk and dance.

new sensation grabs you from the beginning with that guitar sound and then the voice of singer Michael Hutchins live baby live is what he opens with and the musical style of the song follows that dogma it's a song full of life from the way Michael sings to the way everyone plays drummer John

00:01:37 - Faris's drums are simple and crisp adding a nice one to punch with Kirk's guitar. Tim Ferriss, the second of the three Ferriss brothers in the band, puts aside his I'm-the-lead guitarist ego and lets Kurt play the killer and completes the song with heavy rhythmic work. Musically it is an almost perfect pop song from start to finish. You even have Michael Hutchins yelling trumpet right before the solo saxophone. It's a song that doesn't try to take itself too seriously other than telling you to live life to the fullest and have as much fun as you can along the way. Lyrically the song is about the different stages of our lives and how we cope with them. There are different and new sensations in life and it is your choice how to react to them as a singer. Michael will help us get through it and guide us along the way. Throughout the song there are various situations, life in general, dream, dreams, tears, hate and love.

00:02:43 - It's the tactic of human emotions all covered by a catchy pop tune in less than four minutes.

00:02:49 - Michael wants us to try to get to the bright side and positive in any of those situations.

00:02:55 - Huyings' guitarist slash trumpeter Kurt Penngealy played the saxophone part, and yes, Michael

00:03:00 - Hutchins yells trumpet, just before it rings.

00:03:05 - This was a joke, the other guitarist in the group, Tim Ferriss, wanted to play the trumpet on the track, but Penngealy turned him down and got his sax solo.

00:03:25 - In the video version, Hutchins' call to the trumpet is removed, because it sounds really silly when you actually see the saxophone.

00:03:37 - The third single from the album Kick, which took the band to a new level.

00:03:42 - Outside of their home country of Australia, they had only a modest following, but the album's first single, Need You Tonight, was a monster, reaching number one in the

00:03:51 - United States.

00:03:53 - Classics, songs, all time, classics, songs, all time, classics, songs, all time.
