00:00:35 - So today we have a bestseller that was brought to the big screen in 2017, a book that I am sure everybody will love, wonder, but before we begin the book I would like to talk about the woman that made this book possible, Raquel Haramillo Palacio, well Raquel was the descendant of Colombians. She was born in Queens, a really famous district in the United States, where she grew up and not gonna lie she really had a nice childhood. Since she was a little girl she has enjoyed writing and before she wrote the book that took her to the fame she used two illustrate books her own books her own stories so now maybe some of you should be asking why she wrote this book which was the reason that that gave her the idea to write this book so everything in this life has a reason so I will answer your question the story is based in one of her experiences she mentions on the book. So let me explain you the aside and I'll try to thank you in a spoiler okay. Well Raquel was one day at the ice cream shop it was a really normal day with her husband and she was calmly waiting for her ice cream. But then a little boy arrived attracting a frequent case. His face had some malformations she she describes and he looked happy no matter everybody was looking at him but suddenly another kid from his same age pointed him and started crying her mom took him and they ran out of place this my home his face disappeared and he was looking really really sad so here's the main inspiration for Raquel to make this book definitely there couldn't be a better inspiration to make a book that touched everybody's hearts.
